The Dyersburg Fire Department May Be Looking For You!
The Dyersburg Fire Department is constantly searching for those persons who wish to work for a professional fire service organization that is committed to improving the quality of life for the residents of the City of Dyersburg. Applicants should possess good communication skills, a strong desire to serve the public, and the desire to become a part of the community.
Responsibilities include: responding to fire and emergency medical calls, report writing, public fire education, training, response to natural and man-made incidents, and preventive maintenance on equipment.
Minimum Qualifications Include:
- High School Diploma or GED
- No Criminal History 18 Years of Age
- Good Physical Condition
- U.S. Citizen
- Valid Drivers License
- Valid State Emergency Medical Technician License
