The Parks & Recreation Department has a diversified program offering something for everyone. The department employs a permanent staff of trained personnel who are available to assist you in planning your leisure time. The Administrative Office is located in the Dyersburg Activity Center on Shelby Drive. If you have a special interest not included in the current programs, we invite you to bring it to our attention, and our staff will assist any person or group in finding recreational opportunities and space.

Fitness Room Hours
6:30 a.m. - 8:45 p.m.
Fees for fitness room are $3 per day or $20 per month for ages 16 – 60. Must have a current ID card. The cost for county residents is $20 a year and $35 a year for out of county. Seniors 60 and up $1 a day or $5 a month or $10 a year. Identification card
is required.
Weekly events include dance class, bingo, rook/cards, washer pitching, open play, fitness room, walking tracks, weight rooms, tennis courts, fitness classes and much more.
Dac Dress Code

• Shirts must be worn at all times
• We reserve the right to deny entry or ask you to leave to any persons not adhering to our rules or polices. No reminder or warnings Cards or privileges could be revoked
All patrons using the DAC Facility must have a CURRENT IDENTIFICATION CARD to use our amenities. AFTER DARK anyone under the age of 18 who goes outside will leave for that night.

DAC and Bruce Center ID’s
Active ID card is required for any patron participating in any activity sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Department. Identification is also required for each patron in an organized activity not sponsored by the Recreation Department such as: Tennis leagues and Swim teams. Identification is not not required for specter’s, room rentals and invitational tournaments.
Okeena Park Pavilion
- Reservations forms are available at the Dyersburg Activity Center. Each Pavilion is rented for $35.00 for four (4) hours or less. Eight (8) hours Or less will be $70.00. Pavilion 2 & 3 can be rented for $70.00 for four (4) hours or 8 hours or less for $125.00.
- No alcoholic beverages allowed!

This rent does not include the cleaning of any pavilion.
- All grills moved on a trailer will require a $1,000,000.00 liability policy.
- The Dyersburg Parks & Recreation Department provides grills for Pavilions # 1, 2, 3 & 5
- No public address systems are allowed anywhere in the park except for pavilion # 4.
- No car radios to be played in the park.
- Parks and Recreation Director and or Center Directors may limit the number of days buildings are rented in order to allow many groups to use the buildings.
- All rates are subject to change.
- Guest Charges -$5.00 when accompanied by a member with an active ID card
- Military - No charge for anyone who is on active military leave.
Monday and Wednesday nights - adult only basketball is $ 2.00 with valid ID. Any adult basketball free play is $2.00 per day.
At the time of a paid membership the daily fee for that day will not be charged. |
